Stocky Alternative for Shopify Warehouses
Shopify shut Stocky down on August 31, 2026. SKUSavvy covers the purchase orders, forecasting and stocktakes you ran in Stocky, then runs the warehouse floor: bins, put-away, picking and packing.

Purchasing and forecasting
Create purchase orders, get reorder suggestions from sales velocity and supplier lead times, and receive stock by scanning it. A person still confirms each PO.
Bins, put-away and picking
Every SKU gets a bin on a map of your warehouse. Directed put-away, routed pick paths and scan to confirm keep new staff accurate.
Who it is not for
SKUSavvy runs a warehouse floor. If you dropship everything and hold no stock, it is not the right tool. Stores that fulfill some orders in house are a good fit.
Stocky features and where they go now
Shopify admin now covers basic purchase orders and transfers. SKUSavvy covers those jobs too, and adds the warehouse work Stocky never did.

Purchase orders
Create POs, send them to vendors, and receive by barcode scan straight into a bin, with costs tracked per vendor.
Min/max and reorder suggestions
Stocky lost min/max forecasting in July 2025. SKUSavvy suggests reorder quantities from velocity, lead time, committed and expected stock.
Stocktakes
Cycle count by bin with mobile scanning, so you can count one area without stopping the rest of the floor.
Transfers between locations
Move stock between warehouses and stores with a workflow on both the sending and the receiving side.
A bin home for every SKU
Stocky tracked stock by location only. SKUSavvy gives every SKU a bin that put-away, cycle counts and picks all share.
Put-away that lands on the right shelf
Directed put-away after receiving, with scans that stop freight from landing on the wrong shelf.
A pick path for rooms bigger than memory
A map and a routed pick path on your real layout, instead of a printed column of bin names.
Pack and ship in one flow
Rate shop and print labels at the pack station without a separate shipping app. Postage is billed separately.
How SKUSavvy fits after Stocky
SKUSavvy is a mobile WMS for Shopify merchants who pick, pack, and ship at least some of their own stock. Shopify stays the sales engine. SKUSavvy runs the warehouse.
Runs in the browser at app.skusavvy.com on any phone, tablet or computer. Add it to your home screen to use it like an app.
3D and 2D bin map. Put-away, cycle counts and picks all use the same map.
Pick routing on your real layout instead of a printed list of bin names.
Directed put-away after receiving, with scan checks at each step.
Reorder suggestions from velocity, lead time, committed and expected stock. A person confirms the PO.
Purchase orders and receiving that continue into bin allocation, inside the same system.
Two-way Shopify sync for orders, products and inventory.
Shipping labels in the pack flow with major carriers. Postage is separate.
Unlimited seats, so seasonal pickers do not change your bill.
$179/month including the first 249 orders, then $0.20 down to $0.06 per order. Unlimited seats, SKUs, and warehouses. Billable orders include outbound plus inbound POs, transfers, and POS when asked. Postage separate. 30-day trial, no credit card.
Who it is for: in-house Shopify fulfillment from a warehouse, a back room, or a warehouse plus retail stores. Hybrid stores that dropship some SKUs and fulfill others themselves. Teams replacing a mix of Stocky, a shipping app and spreadsheets. Teams that looked at a large WMS and found an ERP-sized project.
Who it is not for: stores with no warehouse floor, brands that use FBA as their main model, sales channels that do not run through Shopify (other marketplaces connect through Shopify Marketplace Connect only), and teams whose main need is expiry-first (FEFO) picking.
Moving from Stocky: there is no direct Stocky import. Connect Shopify so your products and inventory sync, map your warehouse, then bring suppliers, barcodes and bin locations in from CSV exports or spreadsheets.
What happened to Stocky
Shopify retired Stocky in stages:
July 7, 2025: stock transfers and min/max forecasting were removed from Stocky.
February 2, 2026: Stocky was removed from the Shopify App Store, so no new store could install it.
August 31, 2026: Stocky stopped working.
Shopify admin now handles basic purchase orders and transfers. It does not track bins, route picks or forecast reorder quantities, which is where a WMS comes in.
What customers say
Ben W., Amber Ridge: looked at more than 10 systems, went live in a week, and replaced four tools with SKUSavvy.
Austin P., Tractor Beverage: about a year on SKUSavvy, and set up the warehouse floor from our YouTube tutorials when the layout felt daunting.
