API Tokens for the SKUSavvy GraphQL API

Create a personal API token to call the SKUSavvy GraphQL API from your own scripts or integrations.

Create a Token

An API token lets a script or external service authenticate as you against the SKUSavvy GraphQL API, without logging in through the app.

Go to Your API Tokens
  1. Go to Account > API Tokens

  2. Click Create Token

  3. Name the token so you can tell it apart later, then click Create

Copy it now

You will only be able to see this token once. Store it somewhere safe: SKUSavvy can't show it to you again after you close the dialog.
You can have at most 2 active tokens at a time. Revoke one before creating another if you're at the limit.

Use the Token

Send the token in an X-Token header on every request to the GraphQL API (an Authorization: Bearer header also works). This is the same header the SKUSavvy web app itself uses to authenticate.

Revoke a Token

Click Revoke next to a token in the list to disable it immediately: this breaks any app or script still using it, so make sure nothing depends on it first.

If Create Token Is Disabled

API access is a per-company setting. If Create Token is disabled with the message "You don't have permission to create API tokens," ask SKUSavvy support to enable API access for your company.
