Cycle Counting

Learn how to set up cycle counts that automatically count all inventory throughout your bin locations in a warehouse.

Set Cycle Count Rules

Cycle counts are done to physically count and confirm inventory quantities available within the warehouse. Within each individual warehouse in SKUSavvy is the ability to cycle count inventory in the warehouse. Each cycle count uses system data to generate random bins to count, and over time counting all inventory throughout the warehouse. This is important for maintaining inventory quantities and accuracy over time.

Cycle count inventory is updated in real-time, so picking from a bin included in the cycle count won't affect the count integrity.

To perform a cycle count you must have the cycle count feature turned on, then navigate to a warehouse that has inventory allocated to bin locations. Click on inventory > cycle counts.

Settings

  • 1) Turn on the cycle count feature which will appear within a warehouse > inventory > cycle count

  • 2) Turn on/off bin scan requirement for cycle counts
